Roving Reporter: Katelyn

Hi, I’m Katelyn, your Roving Reporter!  It’s a happy Thursday!  Today we started off our warm-ups once we got in to the classroom.  While we were doing our warm-ups, Mr. McMurray pulled some students to the back to go over their rough drafts for the Explorer Report.

After we finished our warm-ups, we worked on our brochures. We worked on our brochures with our partners.  It was really fun! We worked on our brochures for about ten minutes.  Then, we went to P.E.  We got back to the classroom in about an hour.

Before recess, we worked on our brochures again.  When it was recess time, we went to recess.  We got back to the classroom at 10:50 a.m.

We started our Theme 2 Skills Test in language arts.  It took about fifteen minutes.  After the test, we finished our brochures.  It was a blast!

Following the completion of our brochures, Mr. McMurray told everyone that they did good on the chapter 8 math test.  He told us about our math homework and gave us examples.

At 12:30 p.m., we had lunch.  After lunch recess, the band kids went to band.  The strings kids stayed in the classroom because the whole strings class was too big.

While the band kids were at band, the strings kids stayed in class.  The teacher talked about our classroom party and the Turkey Bowl.

Once Mr. McMurray finished talking, he read the class “Al Capone Does My Shirts.”  At 1:45 p.m. we went to strings.  That took about an hour or so.

At the end of the day, the whole class went to the upper playground and played football or went on the play structure.

Clearly, today was a great day!
