Time to correct homework on page 192 (fractions) in our math book! Mr. McMurray separated us into 7 groups and had us show our work on the board and explain each question and method to get the answer. Wow, a good hour on math!
Time for P.E.! Mrs. Pane has us run, then stretch for a fantastic warm up! Next, we separated into groups for push-ups, full body, bench, bent knee, and wall groups. To finish, we practiced some jump roping and using a paddle and ball. Darn, we got a Good (instead of Awesome) for misbehaving and not practicing!
Recess Break
Time for our math test on adding and subtracting fractions. Hope we do well!
We are correcting independent and dependent clauses homework. What fun!
Hey, have you heard of Leonardo's Horse? If you haven't, that's on because Mr. McMurray pre. But he prepared a Power Point! Wow, lots of cool pictures! Too bad (sculptor) Charlie Dent didn't finish Leonardo's horse while he was alive, but he tried to!
Lunch / Recess
Time to split up! One group goes to Read Naturally, the others go to band and strings. That's a big split up!
We're back!
Time to work on weather vocabulary posters for science. Let's split up into pairs. Sketching our posters was a blast!
Now, Ruth will finish reading her story about a game or gadget. She told a story about creating a robot. Cool!
Math tests don't look too good. Now we have extra math homework, then a re-take. Well, I hope you liked visiting Room 16!
