On September 9, 2010, the class of Room 16 went to the flag salute. Ms. Garcia talked about the Walk-a-thon, Box Tops, and Proctor Pride Points.
When Mr. McMurray's class came back the students started to do their warm-ups: geography, cursive, and math. Next was a math lesson about multiplication. It went smoothly.
A math test was next. At recess, there was a flag football game: Steelers vs Stanford. The score was 9-8. Stanford won!
After recess the class came back and we started to discuss Chang and the Bamboo Flute. After the discussion, Mr. McMurray read I.Q. Then the class started to work on their Indian mobiles.
At 12 noon school was out. All was well. That day we learned about different tribes of Indians.
