We started off our day by doing our warm ups. Megan, our class president, led our flag salute. After that we corrected our math skills book and homework.
In PE we first did our warm-up laps. Group 5 lead the class. Then we stretched. We answered soccer questions. We get points for each question answered correctly. Next we went to the upper blacktop area and ended up on the grass running our 2 laps which is equal to a half of a mile.
Groups 5-8 ran first, and groups 1-4 started 10 seconds later. We were divided into beginner or intermediate soccer groups. Then we partnered up with a classmate. We practiced some soccer dribbles for 10 minutes. After that we partnered up with 2 beginners and 2 intermediates playing a game called "Double Trouble."
Straight from PE we went to recess! After recess we did centers. Our centers were chapter 5 science, spelling packet with Mr. McMurray, SSR, grammar practice book, math and Social Studies mobiles. We worked in our centers till lunch.
After lunch we watched a space science movie. We ended our day with our first birthday celebration. HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my August and September birthday classmates!
