The Daily Blog - Bobby (Oct 25)

First off when we started the day we did our warm-ups. As usual, our warm-ups included proofreading, geography questions, and cursive practice. Then, the first group of kids went to the library while the other group had a lesson on math about fractions. Thirty minutes later, they came back from library and the second group left for library and when the second group got bck, we had an assignment of comparing fractions.

After about 15 minutes of that we left for recess. When we got back from recess, Mr. McMurray read us about three chapters from a book called, I,Q. Then we had a short lesson on math comparing and ordering fractions. Then we did a few problems having to do with what we had just learned. Fortunately, it was close to lunch.

The cafeteria served quesadillas and burritos. After about 15 minutes it was time for recess. Then we went back to class. When we got to class we read for about 30 minutes and then we were allowed to work on descriptive essays. Later, when we all turned in our essays, Mr. McMurray will read all of them and decide which has the most descriptive details. We will get to decide if we will go play outside for the last 30 minutes of the school day. And then once we were done with the rough drafts of essays, we were allowed to read quietly outside until he said it was time to return back in the classroom.

We got to play outside for the last 30 minutes of the day because Mrs. Pane, our P.E. teacher, said that we did a great job. That's how we spent the remainder of the day at Proctor school until dismissal.

All in all, it was a terrific day.
