The Daily Blog (March 8) - Andres

We started off the day with a quick review of the Math packet for students that were absent. The pages we went over were: LS86, PW86, LS87, EW87, as well as, page LS88. Then, we had a few minutes of free reading.

Later, we had recess and after went back to class to make surfboards out of paper. These will be placed on the class room door!

Mr. McMurray read “Roll Of Thunder Hear My Cry” to the class and afterwards we began working on a new story called “Yang The Second and Her Secret Admirers.” We didn’t get to read the story but made short predictions for the story and corrected some sentences Mr. McMurray showed on the projector.

Right before lunch, we had three quick rounds of a new game called Spelling Tick Tack Toe. Around 12:30pm we went to lunch.

Shortly after, we went to P.E. and did testing for push-ups, ran a mile, and had free play.

We finished up the day reading pages 102 thru 107 of our Science textbook on how material passes through plants. We also worked on our science packet; as well as, read and worked our Social Studies packet pages 110T5 and 110T6.

At the end of the day, Mr. McMurray passed out our decimal test results for decimal division, Chapter 13, and the percent test from Chapter 16.

Today’s homework was unfinished work from the Science and the Social Studies packet and a Math assignment RW89, “Solve Equations”.
