The Daily Blog (Feb 3) - Ondray

Today at school we had our normal Wednesday flag assembly all of Proctor said the Pledge of Allegiance and that is how our day started.

After the flag salute we went to the Arts Center for Too Good for Drugs. That is where we saw Deputy Costeiu and we talked all about setting goals for yourself, why you shouldn’t take drugs, and how drugs can kill you.

After Too Good for Drugs, we went to our Language Arts Centers. That’s where all the kids in the 5th grade go to a certain classroom to work on reading, vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension skills.

After Language Arts Centers, we had recess and we did a two-sided math worksheet and if we didn’t finish, it was homework. After the math worksheet we talked about when our Biography reports are due, how they are supposed to be done, and other important things your Biography person did to make them famous.

Then we talked about our Social Studies research essay: what goes in what paragraphs; what you’re suppose to do in each paragraph; and how you’re supposed to start each paragraph.

That is all we did and I hope for a spectacular day tomorrow like today.
