The Daily Blog (Feb 23) - Kailani

This morning we walked into class and we had no teacher! Mrs. Pisciotto came in and announced that our teacher was going to be a little late so she stayed with us and helped us as we all correct our homework. Then a few minutes later our teacher rushed in and we moved on with the day.

Mr. McMurray explained our plan for the day and following that we walked to the Arts Center to hear Eleanor Roosevelt (Bella) , Betsy Ross (Madison), President Eisenhower (Eric) and Bruce Lee (David).

Following that we came to class and took our division of decimals math test.

Around 10:00 am. we went to science and did an experiment with powders and liquids.

That was really fun! We stayed in science for our recess because it was indoor recess and after science we went back to our classroom and had our indoor recess there!

When recess was over we read a story from our language arts book called Mariah Keeps Cool! It was an interesting story that we will finish tommorow in class!

When that part of the story was completed it was 12:30! It was time for us to go to lunch!!!

At lunch recess it was indoor recess again so we watched a movie. When the bell rang for recess to be over we did silent reading to calm us down!

Finally our teacher announced who would be doing their Biography reports infront of the whole 5th grade! That was exciting!

Finishing the day we did our practice tests for math and for Scholastic News!

Finally at 5 minutes untill school was out we wrote down our homework and headed out the door!!!
