The first thing we did of the day is salute the flag. Next we shared out our weekends. One student said that someone broke into her dad`s car. Everybody was in shock. After that we got our new McMurray Bucks chackbooks. Most of the kids in class were mad at Mr.McMurray because he let other kids stay with what they had leftover.
Then we we disscussed our schedule for the day. Next we talked about the Social Studies. We have a writing assignment we have to do for class. Then we went into the rest of our math packets about multiplication and division of fractions. Some kids in the class could not find their packets fast enough. Mr.McMurray kind of lost his patience. After that we went to Soul Shoppe. We learned about responsibility.
Next we went to recess. There was a football game: Trojans vs Stanford. Stanford lost by one point. After recess we dropped everything and read for about a good thirty minutes.
Before lunch we started the Language Arts Theme 2 Skills Test. At 12:30pm we went to lunch. After lunch we went to P.E. We learned about basketball passes and then we went to the upper playground to do relay races.
Afterwards, we came back to class to start on Social Studies. Then with all the little time we had we tried some news reports about the conflicts between the Europeans and American Indians. We will have to finish those tomorrow afternoon.
At 2:50 we packed up and went home.
