The Daily Blog (Dec 8) - Sarah

As soon as I got to school, I put my backpack at class and ran up to the upper playground to play. Turns out , not the perfect conditions to play. The whole playground was covered in ice!!!
RRRRRRIINNGGG!!! The bell rang and Mr. Mcmurray came and picked us up. Once we got back to class, we went inside and found out we had a new seating arrangement. Everybody was too chatty so we had to go back outside and in again(quieter this time). We then started our math lesson on adding fractions with different denominators. We reviewed our homework and did more practice problems.

Whoops, 10:05 already!!! We're late for science! During our first 20 minutes of science, we learned about matter, mass, and volume.

Following that, we went to recess. Since the ice on the grass had disappeared, there was a football game. It was the 49ers vs. Stanford. Stanford won 14-0.

The remainder of science didn't go the smoothest. But still, we learned things. We used paper weights to check the weight of things like a paperclip, a penny and a plastic disc.

Once we got back to class, we wrote a science reflection about what we did in science. A few people shared what they wrote . Kannen, KB, and Julia were some of the kids that shared out loud.

The next part of our day was we reviewed our science homework. Then came lunch.

During lunch recess there was another football game, Demons vs. Undead Pandas. The score was 10-10 so nobody won.

After that we had DEAR (drop everything and read). But a couple people wanted to work on their book reports.

Next we finished a few tests including the Theme Skills test, a reviewing correcting sentences activity, and the listening part of the trimester test.

Finally, we took out our Binder Reminders to write down our homework.
