Start Your Engines!

We're off to the start of a fantastic fifth grade experience! Welcome to our Room 16 home page. I hope you visit here daily to find out what we're up to and how we are enjoying the school year. I will feature many things on our page including links to the most up-to-date chapters and units in math, language arts, science, and social studies. You can find more information about me, Mr. McMurray. This is a page where students will report on the day's activities with our Daily Blog. It is an easy way to know how and what your child is enjoying throughout the year. This is a way for the traveling parent to check in on us through your iPhone, Blackberry, or other device while you're grocery shopping. Or maybe you're heading to the airport or a business meeting and you flip open the laptop for a second. You are your child's first and most powerful teacher. Together we will do all that we can to support a successful finish to your child's elementary school experience. This is just one more tool to bridge the gap between the home and school. I can't wait to meet your child on Tuesday, September 1st!
